Bill Barksdale

Rev. Bill Barksdale came to Montana in 2021 from his home state of Mississippi.  Ordained an elder in full connection in 1995, Bill has served the United Methodist Church in many capacities over the years.  When many of the Mississippi Annual Conference churches indicated they wanted to disaffilliate in 2020, Bill wanted to remain with the UMC and transferred to the Mountain Sky Conference in 2021.  In Montana, he served Grace UMC in Missoula, and St. Paul's UMC and Covenant UMC in Helena before moving to Billings in 2025.
